A UKC RockStar is a supporter who chooses to sponsor a hospital by funding all or most of the ukuleles that we donate to that facility. The overall goal of this program is to never have a deficit of ukuleles in any UKC hospital ever again.

By becoming a UKC RockStar you now know your gift has a specific goal. You can be assured that all your money goes directly to supply ukuleles to your chosen hospital and to continue support at home with our UKC At Home program. The UKC offers the donor the unique opportunity to give back knowing that 100% of their money goes to both purchasing ukuleles and providing the resources these kids need to continue their music for life journey.
Our goal with this program is to match a RockStar with each of our affiliate programs so that each program’s ukulele needs are covered for any given year. The initial donation is $500.00 which puts 8 ukuleles in the program’s inventory. Each location has different requirements with some needing more than these initial 8 ukuleles and some less. If a RockStar is unable to completely fund its chosen program’s needs, then the UKC will step in and furnish the instruments as they become available through our general donations. A $1,000.00 contribution will supply your program with 16 ukuleles and so on. A RockStar can donate as much as they want to support this component of our mission. If your chosen program’s requirements in a given year are less than the amount you wish to donate, then we will share those ukuleles with a different facility based on the most urgent need.Â
There is no term limit for our RockStar program, however it is our hope that a RockStar is so fulfilled by the results of this program that they continue to support their chosen hospital for the next 12 months and for years to come. The UKC will provide updates for each RockStar to keep you in touch and let you know the power of your contribution. The UKC will deliver all ukuleles directly to your selected hospital and notify you when the instruments ship. We will also notify you should your hospital run low on inventory in hopes that you can fund the next batch. And don’t worry if your favorite hospital is not on our list. If you choose a hospital that is not yet affiliated with the UKC, we will reach out to that hospital to see if they qualify for our program. If they do, then we will sign them up.

How do I access my donation history?
Please visit our Donor Dashboard to verify your identity via email. You will receive an email that contains a link to your donation history. Email access expires after 24 hours. To access your donation history at a later time, simply repeat this process.
